The Children's Literature Association named this "the best American children's book of the past two hundred years," and Joseph Robinette, working with the advice of E.B. White, has created a play that captures this work in a thrilling and utterly practical theatrical presentation. Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the "miracle" of her web in which she writes, "Some pig." It's the beginning of a victorious campaign which ultimately ends with the now-safe Wilbur doing what is most important to Charlotte.
This will be the first of our Project Sparx Outreach Productions, where the Teen Ensemble will be performing for Greater Newburyport Area students as part of their curriculum. This is an excellent opportunity for our Sparx teens to be a positive influence on elementary and middle school age children and provide inspiration to the next generation of artists.
Auditions: By Video, Deadline August 25th
Rehearsals: Starting September 10th
Performances: October 9th - 13th
Participants must be entering grades 8 to 12.
Registration starts on 07/15/2019 and ends on 08/31/2019.
