Monday, April 15th-Friday, 19th

9:00-9:30 Opening circle and theatre game 
9:30-9:45 Choreography warm-up
9:45-10:30 Choreography
10:30-10:45 Snack 
10:45-11:30 Outside play time (weather permitting)
11:30-11:45 Bathroom/Wash hands for lunch  
12:00-12:30 Lunch 
12:30-1:30 Music 
1:30-2:15 Craft 
2:15-3:15 Put music/choreo together onstage 
3:15-3:30 Snack

3:30-4:00 Outside play time and then back to lobby for pickup 

 

*There will be a final showcase performance on Friday, April 19th at 4:00 PM.

Participants must be 7 years to 12 years old when the program starts.

Description

The Firehouse Center for the Arts is thrilled to announce the second annual April Cabar-YAY! Youth Musical Theatre Program. The Firehouse is a fun, professional, all inclusive regional theatre where kids will have the opportunity to explore the arts in a hands-on way. 

During this week, each child will have the opportunity to explore improvisation, theatre games, and experience a Musical Theatre rehearsal process. They will be educated in music, acting, and dance all while working towards a final performance at the end of the week.

 

April Cabar-YAY! Scholarship Opportunities:

Funded in part by the Edward S. and Winifred G. Moseley Foundation, The Firehouse is pleased to offer limited scholarship opportunities. Families may apply for partial or full scholarships based on financial need. If selected, families will be given a supplemental scholarship application to fill out and return to the Firehouse Center for the Arts. All scholarship monies will be credited to your account, if awarded.
